Non-Russian Titanium Grade 2 Sheet for PEM Electrolyzer…

European hydrogen electrolyzer programs are scaling fast — and titanium sheet for bipolar plates is one of the few inputs that cannot be substituted. Acid environment plus high-voltage operation rules out stainless, aluminium, and graphite at production scale. The result: every PEM stack at every gigawatt-scale project — Sunfire's Dresden facility, thyssenkrupp nucera's plant, ITM Power's modular Trident builds — depends on a stable, qualified Ti sheet supply.

Until 2022, much of that Ti sheet came either through Russian mills (still €213 million of EU imports in 2025, per Investigate Europe) or through Chinese rolling mills with multi-week sea freight and recurring authenticity concerns on Mill Test Reports. Both routes are now under active de-risking by Tier-1 procurement teams in Germany and Italy.

What OSKTREID Offers

We are a Ukrainian titanium mill-products supplier in Korosten, Zhytomyr region. Current floor inventory includes approximately 25 tonnes of titanium sheet (thickness 2.5 mm to 10 mm) and 62 tonnes of titanium bar/rod (∅12 mm to ∅330 mm). Grades cover commercially-pure (PT-1M / VT1-0 — ASTM B265 Grade 1–2 equivalent) and Ti-6Al-4V (VT6S — ASTM Grade 5 equivalent).

Every shipment ships with a current chemistry-analysis Mill Test Report. The latest analyses dated 15 January 2025 conform to GOST 19807 and align with ASTM B265 chemistry limits for Grade 2 (Ti 99.31%, Fe 0.18%, O 0.10%).

Three Things That Matter to Procurement

1 — Zero EU import duty. Under the revised Ukraine–EU Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area (DCFTA, in force from 29 October 2025), titanium HS 8108 enters all EU member states at 0% duty, no quota. Compare with Chinese Grade 2 sheet at 6.5% MFN duty (and recurring anti-dumping investigations), or Indian sheet at the same bracket. The duty difference alone is €0.70–1.20 per kg.

2 — 72-hour truck delivery to Germany. Korosten sits on the M-07 / E373 corridor. Frankfurt is 1,800 km — typical Friday-to-Monday transit for a full pallet. Compare 4–8 weeks of sea freight from Baoji or Shanghai. For projects on a tight construction critical-path, that delta is decisive.
